 I had this idea and I didn't think I'd be able to execute it, but I was mentioning my idea to a friend and she said "I have my doll whose hair I cut when I was little - I think she's in my shed." She rummaged around and found her with a bag of potting soil spilled all over her. I said "don't clean her up." When I saw "Barbara" - who we called 'Barb' the rest of the day, I was so pleased. She was exactly what I was looking for. My friend and I drove out to a rural community and found this wonderful abandoned grain mill. It was full of broken windows, pipes, but had wonderful light.

this is so cool. i have a doll that i gave a haircut to when i was a kid, too. i found her at my mom's not too long ago but i haven't taken any pics of her yet because she's nekkid...lol. i need to find or make some clothes for her. she has the coolest looking eyes...mildew has grown over them and they have turned completely white. they look so creepy. lol...suits me to a T. this is a great shot, hon. kinda creepy in a cool way. :)

Double whammy -- the doll and the window. Focus could be a little sharper, but this meets the challenge and then some.

it's a good shot, but just lacks a bit of punch...it seems a little flat and grainy

I love it!
I think it could use just a little brightness/contrast to boost the highlights a tad and bring out more detail. Maybe a dash of USM as well.
The composition is excellent.

I love this. Its certainly one of the most interesting in this challenge. I love the ever-so-light grain. It fits the picture well. The saturation of colors is awesome. This is one of my favorites!! 10
