Quite a lot of editing done to this, the day was rather drab and the sun was setting fast... selective hue shifting and saturation on the sea, sky reflection and sand respectively (each to the right colour, obviously). A little cloning around the sky in the reflection (to take out weird saturation artefacts), crop, resize and sharpen. It\'s far from what i was aiming for, but it\'s possibly the best i could make with the light. In retrospect, my reflected scene could have been far more interesting... i need to find a better beach!

The 100-400mm comes in handy for such things... the heart was rather small, i was quite far away and in the shadow of the buildings.

Ok. There are many things visually improved by submersion in sand and surf. This chrome heart isn't one of them.

great clarity on the heart, maybe a little more foam or acouple little bubbles just around the front. I love how your not actually in the picture, great touch on the reflection.
