It doesn't get much simpler than this one. I cut the Pacman from 2 sheets of yellow cardboard. The Pacman food is cut from red/orange cardboard as well. Pinned the shapes onto a black material background and then came the only difficult part, getting my 18 month old son to co-operate!

Anyway, took around 100 shots and finally got this one which I'm pretty happy with...It almost looks like he is looking straight into Pacman's eyes, (well if he had any).

PS Processing:

Crop
USM
Levels layer,
Curves layer,
Saturation layer, (Pacman and food),
Add black border,
Colour Balance layer, (only on Pacman and food),
Hue layer on Pacman food to match overals,
Dodge and Burn, (especially on the Pacman to create some shadow effect) and
Some spot Cloning.

Greetings from the Critique Club!

Wow! What can I say about this image? It's great! I loved it in the challenge, it beat mine and it's more 80's than a lot of things I remember. I do so remember spending quarters upon quarters in this game, though I don't remember that cute young man, LOL! They were little ghosts in the game, right? ;-)

Great shot, great composition, congrats on getting the little one to help out.

I really like this one - it's fun, as well as being quite well done. The child has a great look in his eye - he looks like he is presenting a challenge to the paccman!!!

Cute photo, very clear and the colours really pop. Not sure it really says 80's though, even though pac-man was around then.

Isn't it funny how the circle closest to the pacman looks the smallest but if you cover the pacman with your hand and look again they are all the same size:)

Very clever, very clever indeed and the pacman and dots looks great. However, the skintones on the baby look to yellow for my taste and also the baby doesn´t appear really tack sharp wich the rest of the shot does. The outcome is just not really that aesthetically pleasing to me but I still gave it a 6, mostly for the effort you must have put into this shot.
