I used a mini flashlight as my light source in an otherwise pitch black bathroom. I shot about 20 of these experimenting with different angles, etc. I got lucky with this one because of the golden lit heart around the darker shadow heart. None of the other ones had this, so this one really stood out to me. I placed the ring so that 1st Corinthians 13 from the Bible would show, being that it's usually read in wedding ceremonies.

I really like you other shots that are similar to this, but the ring seems a little out of focus on this one.

This is nice. Although I am familiar with this idea on DPC, it is still a nice take on it. 7

A lovely twist on a often implimented composition...the use of the worn wedding band, the soft warm light and 1 Corinthians 13, a passage I visit often...this is absolutely one of my favorites of this challenge.

Great idea; nice work with the shadows. Hot spots on the ring are a little distracting and maybe could have moved the ring down on the book to really highlight the word 'Love' on the right page instead of 'But' just above it.

This has been done to often. But this is well done and a nice twist on this idea. The shadow and halo are just perfect.
