 I used light meter (first time ever) to get correct exposure and I was placed about 2m below and about 10m away. I didn’t processed it very much. What I did was I processed it from RAW to TIF and then I used G-Channel in PS to make it Bl/Wh. Then I added USM filter to it to sharpen it a little bit, cropped a bit and enlarged the canavas with black for fill-in color. I used the eraser tool to make the white border.

Hope I will get some points :=)

nice photo and good in b&w, but I think the black border is way too thick, takes from the photo, I would just have it as thick as the white one

Lovely B&W and beautiful family. I think it may have been better if it looked like Mom was comforting them after getting a boo-boo, or wiping a tear? Just a suggestion.
