A black and white version of Swiss Hideway. Which do you like better? Which should I offer as a print (or both?)

This is processed more Ansel style (red filter during processing) of course. I could go with a less dramatic transfer too. Let me know what you think.

Here's the other:

Neil,

I think this looks a bit flat, mostly because of the fact that you have the brighter areas of snow set at too low a level. I think it gets more "pop" if you try either of these:

(1) Using your b/w version, add a Levels adjustment layer an try input level settings of 0, .73, 238

OR, which I like even better:

(2) using your color version, use a Channel Mixer adjustment layer and try settings of red: +170, green: +80, blue: -150
and a Levels adjustment layer with input level settings:
0, 1.0, 236

This latter version creates a more dramatic contrast between the
white peak and the sky at the horizon just above the house.

GREAT! I thought I'd seen it before - in black and white it takes on a totally different mood. That sky! WOW
