This was a strange scene I came across when checking out a half-melted pond.

I watched for a long time. This lady bug was trying to reach the little ice shore but was stopped by the bubble. But if the bubble wasn't there, it probably wouldn't have air and sink in the water beneath the ice. The irony was

I'm not sure what it was, but it was what it was.

I once put a beetle inside a 35mm film roll cover. A couple of days later opened it and the beetle was still alive.

Wow...amazing!

However, I put it back in the same container and forgot about it....well, maybe a year and 1/2 later I found that container and heard something inside it and was like.. "what did I put inside this".

I emptied it out on my dresser, only to see a dead beetle. Ooops....sorry little guy - I forgot about you. After about 10 minutes I saw it's legs begin to twitch. And then soon after saw it right itself and begin walking away while I stared in amazement.

Ever since then, my respect for beetles has been greatly elevated.

So, I am not surprised in the least with seeing a ladybug with it's own bubble-submarine.

maybe it is an evil bubble which is digesting it!

I was waiting for you to take some shots like this again.
