Yes, exactly like most photos found in textbooks. I intentionally made it look the way it does, even though it makes the image less "appealing" as a work of "art."

Yes, this is an example of refraction, but as a photo it's poor quality and lacks any interest. Sorry, it meets the challenge criteria and that's about it.

It is indeed a textbook example but it doesn't hold much image appeal. I am sure this will definitely meet the challenge yet suffer from the votes. A clean background and further distance away would make this better.

Can't quite tell what's going on.. not enough contrast I think. I am thinking it's a straw?
