Yes, it the famous "Bandit" again.

I set this shot up using a glass panel and standing it up right. I then opened a tin of salmon, (his favourite!) and poured the liquid down the glass.

Took several shots, some good close ups of his tongue, but decided on this one because of the humour value, and its so "Bandit".

Post editing:
Slight crop (His ear was already out of the frame).
Velvia vision
Sharpened a little
Saved for web.
Didn't use a noise reducing programme. Its the glass that gives the photo that effect.

what a shame! Such a great capture, but the excessive noise reduction ruined it imo. All the texture is lost

7 - Oh boy. Cat looks familiar. Good 'capture'. Two main detractors here are the eyes (but they do 'add' to the oddness), and likely due to the odd 'refraction' and the ear chopped, otherwise, a unique shot and good take on the Challenge to show the texture of a cat's tongue. Nice complementary background colors.

That's so cool. The cat could almost pass for a painting. Maybe he's licking himself out of it?

Very funny and great textural detail. I think I recognize this fellow from other photos. How do you get him to pose so well? My cats are usually very uncooporative. :D

very funny. how did you get the cat to lick the glass? liquid catnip? Theproblem i have with this shot is the weird flat top that the cat has. It looks a little to edited/weird. BUt very cool photo idea. Good luck.
