Hey cool, I was worried with all the other fine entries that I would place in the top 10. Once again, tough compition. If you ever go to the Pike Place Market in Seattle, you might see this guy singing with 3 or 4 others in front of the original Starbucks store. Worth the listen. Here's my outtake, my family picked the winner over this one;

I shot both of these extended out to 200mm w/circular polarizer, which is why I had to boost my ISO up to 640.
Thanks everyone for all the great comments.

Today, even a beginner can take professional quality pictures, with correct exposures, meterings, etc. However, this is not totally true.

Anybody can buy a sophisticated camera and take pro-quality pics, but the difference between two photographers, or more perticularly, two images, of the same shot lies in the eyes of the photographers. Composition is the key to ones success these days, as Adobe Photoshop and other softwares cannot compose the images also!

Bravo to the great photographer. Even a few pics of Cecil Beaton has failed to satisfy me recently, but this pic, indeed managed to satisfy me. Ahh...what freshness! My best wishes for you.

I don't usually like comments or give them, but since candids are near and dear to my heart, I have decided to comment on every photo in this challenge.

Nice one. I like the half head thing, and have a guess as to who I think used this style. I will comment after challenge if I was right. As for the photo, its a bit too shadowy, but still shows some nice emotion. Makes the viewer want to see more though. It's a 5 from me overall. It's good, but in this particlar instance I would have liked to see the entire profile and not half of the head.
