Shot in a park near my house.

Opened raw in Photoshop, levels, curves, brightness & contrast, clone out a small blur spot between the chains, dodge, burn, desat the reds a little, USM, crop and save for the web.

WOW! Kick Boo-tey! I was biting my nails all week. The idea hit me like a ton of bricks every detail all at once. I captured my vision 100% it’s very gratifying. 4 place almost there! I love this place thanks everyone!

Edit: Woo Hoo my first ribbon! Thanks again everyone!

I gave this a 10 in voting. Excellent image. Very well composed, lighting and detail are perfect. The effect is quite unique and really makes the viewer think a minute or two. Shows a great imagination and a good ability to pull off an idea. Well done!

Thanks Kali but I do believe that from all the things I have learned from DPC, and the people that participate, have made me a better photog. Not because I won a ribbon but because it is true for me!

HAHAHA, because you win a ribbon all the sudden DPC makes ppl better at photography. Sorry but DPC doesn't "make" anyone a better phototgrapher. Education, experimentation & in-depth critiques all help to aide a person in becoming more advanced in their photography but DPC doesn't make the photographer, it's only a place to learn techniques and get idea's; the rest is up to you. Either you have an eye for it or you don't.

I can't think of anything to say about the image that hasn't already been stated.

Very cool photo, but I don't see what it has to do with the challenge of jump. Only the title refers to gravity lossage, which to me is only a small scientific part of an actual jump, but the photo itself without the title doesn't show a jump to me.
