What a beautiful model. I love the tight crop and the accessories she is wearing. Great shot!

That's a *great* expression! I love the tones in this photo, the colors mix very well together. You should have ribboned!

I absolutely love this crop; it gets nice and close for a really personal feel. I love that both eyes have catchlights and the shadows are not too harsh. The color of the hat couldn't be better. It adds a great sassy splash to a technically immaculate shot.

You are a master of portraiture. Your command of lighting, especially in one as difficult to light as this, is nothing less than astounding. Your strict attention to technical excellance is the strength of this composition. Like in this case, what you put into your portraits is often so subtle, so good, and yet so natural that DPC voters often overlook it. We are just not that sophisticated. We often look for funk and flash. ;)

How come it didn't ribbon. I really believe this should have gotten a BLUE or a RED. Yours and Gary are the best in this challenge. That's how I feel and quite strong about this.

What I like in here is your choice of colours. How do you always get it right?

I gave this a 10...wish it ribboned. You did a magnificent job with this shot. Congratulations on your top 10 finish. Sabrina is stunningly beautiful

The question I have is how does anyone vote 1's and 2's on a shot like this???

Good lighting and posing, The subtle tilt of the head works well and gives one clear eye to focus on while retaining a catchlight in both. The balance between the hat and the face is good, neither draws too much attention.

Beautiful model. Lighting is perfect. I also like your selected DOF, leaving a soft focus on her hair lower frame drawing my eye towards her magnificent blue eyes. The only, and I mean ONLY thing I can offer as a potential change would be to loose the necklace and perhaps not crop so close on the left part of her hat. That being said, I feel this shot is perfect and for that I'm giving this a 10. Well done.

more of the arm could be cropped off for a tighter composition. nice overall!

If I could make one suggestion it would be to choose a hat that brings out the color of her beautiful eyes. Very nice portrait.

The quintessential glam shot - you obviously didn't do this with a desk lamp. :-) If you're not already a pro making money from this photography obsession, you should be. Great shot!

love this shot except for the coldness of it. A warming filter of 82 would have made this a perfect shot. Still very good.

I think you had a wonderful opportunity to really capture the full effect of her eyes if only more light had lit them up a bit more. It looks kind of like the light was a bit high and to the right of her; just a little lower and I think you would have had it.

Beautiful shot. This reminds me of the work of someone I know. If it is you then you're already in my list of faves and your portrait rocks! The skin is nice and soft and the pose is great. Love it ;) Good luck. One of the best ones in the challenge.

I like the pale sense of it, except for the chartreuse hat. I'd take off the black beads as they don't really add to the shot. A bit tight in the crop - as it makes the dimensions slightly disproportionate.

Beautiful model. Love the sharp focus on the eyes. The hat really adds to the image.
