Not really my grandma's kitchen, but I liked the title :)

Focal length = 12mm, I love this lens!

Thanks for all the votes and comments and the ribbon. This photo was taken at an old reconstructed farm community in Münster. It was taken through a glass window. I didn't have a polarizer with me so there were still a couple of reflections that I missed and are still in the photo. Quite bothersome seeing them there and not being able to do anything about it now.

I think this is a very difficult picture to take. Getting the light right takes a lot of skill. Nicely done. Great photo. The only things I might change are the spot of light at the top right and maybe crop a little off the bottom to remove the strongest part of the light at the bottom under the (not sure what it is) piece of furniture. The light does define the bottom of the object but with a modest crop this will still happen but the harshest part of the light will be gone.

Gary: you are indeed a potent force. A master at excecuting your ideas. It is like you have the very pulse of the voters to entertain them with amazing and creative images with impeccable technique, but above it all, it is your creativity that shines. Like the man with the golden touch. Here, you revert to simplicity but mange to bring the essence of the old in most warm and charming manner.

Sir, you deserve all the praise that comes your way. Congratulations on your Red.

I like the muted colors. The soft light from the window in a shot like this, is very difficult to hold detail as well as you have managed here. Impressive work. 10
