Now that's a pleasant surprise. One of my faves from this challenge it turned out to be yours! Gave it a 9. A 10 if the dodge/burn(or similar technique) was done more neatly. There is a slight halo around the vehicle in certain spots and you forgot to edit the nooks and crannies that show glimpses of the sky before the editing ;)

Congrats on another great score and placing with a typical Oregon springtime scene. After processing the clouds to make them more dramatic something you can do to fix the remaining blown out areas like you have in the middle right of the frame is to lightly clone at about 20-40% from another non-descript area of the sky. It is amazing how well it takes care of blown out sky and blends in well. Try it, you'll like it. ;)

Looking at this photo, the colorful & cheerful tulips, the dark and brooding sky, and the antique Deere, you would think these elements would compete and clash with one another. Somehow, they all seem to bind harmoniously, creating this fascinating photo. Very beautiful!

How's this for a tiny, stupid nitpick? The one tall tulip bottom center is a bit distracting.

Simply breathtaking. The composition, gray sky, old John Deere and then the colors of the tulips, fantastic. On my short list at the top!

probably a top ten even though the 'deere' isn't that old and is appears to be working by the dirt on the wheels.

this must be Hollande. tulips, flat lanscape...do they have Deeres there? the truck in the middle of the flower bed gives a great of effect of...is surrealism the word? Good job!

This is the only picture of old tractors that I've liked so far. Thank you! There's so much contrast in this picture. The colour of the flowers with the colour of the tractor, and then the ominous feeling of the sky. It's so much that you would think it would be too much on the eyes, but to me, it looks great. Good job!

Something just looks funky about this one. The intense color and contrast of the flowers and sky versus the softer contrast and lower saturation of the tractor makes it look as though the tractor was cut and pasted into the picture, or as if the flowers in front were added on.

Wow! Truly a standout in this challenge! You must live in Washington or Oregon??? And what a dramatic sky to compliment your amazing tulips and old tractor. FanTASTIC job!!!!

Beautiful photograph, new and old together, dark skies and bright tulips, so many things to like.

The saturation makes it look fake to me. I think it would look better if it were a tad less "worked on."

First ten for me for this round of voting! The colors are amazing and the unexpected look of the old tractor composed with the tulips makes this a winner in my book.
