This is an inversion of a shot of a plastic diffuser over the fluorescent light fixture in our kitchen. When viewed at a certain angle, with the light turned on, you see this effect in a sort of orange (no white balance correction) which creates an image which then contains a negative of itself. The inversion changes the image to this blue-ish tone.

Quite a wonderful photo. I really like how the light and tones in the repeating shapes change as you move from top to bottom. Don't know how you did this, but its quite inventive!
