I know I have done this before but it is all I could come up with for complementary colors. Imagination downfall this week :(

Black background, softbox from front left. I clamped 3 matches together in a clamp and used a lighter to light the furthest match and pressed the shutter when the match lit.

+++++

Somehow this is slowly becoming embarrassing. Why do I feel the need to apologise? Thanks everyone again, thanks so much. Everytime I win a ribbon it is still like the first times I won, that cool bouncy feeling is still there every time. I don't think that will ever leave. The roll over is at 6am our time, and I never need an alarm clock on roll over days, the excitement wakes me up and within two minutes of opening my eyes I am down at my computer looking at the results.

This ribbon is special though because now I have finally reached one of my goals and that is to get past JJ who has had the most ribbons on DPC for a few years now. I will celebrate that tonight :) Also I have a little challenge going on with Arnit to see who will get first to 25 ribbons.

I dont believe you are just 1 person. It´s humanly impossible to score that many ribbons.
I guess Kiwiness is just a name of a group of professional photographers in Germany.
Yeah that´s the reason that there are so few members from germany, it´s all a big conspiracy.
Or you´re a robot....

Well anyway, just wanted to say something different then just congrats haha

Unreal. How's this for a challenge? Win a ribbon of a photo that contains feces. On second thought you'd probably accomplish that and we'll have to then see it every day on the front page. Nevermind...

Good work on this shot. Good Orange/Blue complement. Nicey composed. I don't think I'm a fan of the square crop on this. It feels to me this might have looked a little stronger in a portrait layout vs. the square. JMO.
