When a batter throws the bat after a hit, the batter is automatically 'out'. In this case the bat was thrown, and the catcher got most of the blunt.

Nice angle and colors. Picture tells a story and one if left to wonder what happened next. Good luck -8-

is that vignetting on one side only? it's weird. I like the shot though. 7

I so want to say "good catch!" and not have you take it the wrong way....

Love the moment and the "story" in this image. The composition, texture of the footprints, pattern placement...nicely done!

my favorite image in the challenge. I think its the POV, combined with all the empty space. contrast is a little high but caused by sunlight, yes? Maybe its cause I'm such a baseball fan... 9

Good colors, but the angle of the shot just seems odd.

Good timing for you - bad for him. Nice colors and detail in this image. The angle almost makes me think you were sitting on the cage. I like that you can see the detail of the cleats inthe dirt. Adds a cool texture to the shot.

All the cleat footprints are cool, the image is a bit too bright though, probably mid-day sun reflection off the dirt. Too bad about the player, hope nothin's broken.

Ouch! I feel his pain. Your perspective from above and the framing makes this a beautiful shot, even though I feel bad for the guy. Hope he was okay. 10

Awesome! ... This is simply brilliant. The minimal elements of the background are screaming baseball and screaming 'awesome'! How on earth did you do this???The POV appears to be very hig up. 9 and fave.
