Flott mynd (tyrkinn gaf 8), var þó ekki að kveikja á að þetta væri héðan.

Excellent overall image. I think my few nits are the exposure along the bottom of the frame is way too bright and you should have used a more shallow DoF to hrow the zipper llooking thing and pole out of focus as they detract from the great expression and pose. 8

An engaging shot. From the odd window to the expression on his face, this shot offers a lot of interest, though the eyes are always drawn right back to his face. The choice of coloring gives this shot a lot of impact, and makes it feel as though it were taken in the 50's. Good strong composition. The white "post" distracted me just the tiniest bit, but overall I think it is balanced by the darkness of the right side of the photo.

Very nice. Love the composition and the expression on the model's face.

The look on the model's face is good with most of the tones but the darker tones behind the model and the hot light around the bottom of the photo don't seem to compliment the central subject. The use of the window frame is good. I would have liked it better if you could have diffused some of the light that hits the bottom of the image.

beautiful shot... i love the old school photography feel of this one. This sorta reminds me of a 'grapes of wrath' type scene... a bit of despair maybe... tired eyes... long day of hard work... great shot :) = 10

You captured a great expression. There's a lot of stroy here. Nice work.

Fantastic pic with an old fashioned feel to it though the sepia toning. One of the better submissions this week.

Great image but for the lack of sharpness - the "frame in a frame" idea works well and the curves are a nice contrast to the square outer frame - sharpen and it will be much improved - 7

I love this shot. There is more being spoken by this man's expression, then a thousand words could describe. You're toning, lighting, composition is all brilliant. This is my top pick of the week! 10 -danny

Goodness - as soon as I saw this it made me think of old black and white films - and then I saw the title - it fits really well. I love the framing created by the car window. I like that he's not looking at the camera. His arm positioned just so really makes a nice shape of his body and further strengthens a strong composition. Focus seems a touch soft?

the over-exposed edge detracts a bit but the face has great intensity

Stunning and very expressive photo ! I think the visual effect caused by the strong bright parts is perfect.

Nice moody tone to this one and the black and white works well.

A great window and a great face. There's an untold story here, and both the literal and metaphorical meanings of "on the inside looking out" are quite clear. This is a really nice shot.
