A dead-on, centred perspective, unusual considering the soft, ethereal image of the girl at the centre of this shot. What is striking here, IMO, is a balance that has been achieved between the soiled primary plane and the tender, almost fragile expression of her face. The warm range of tones here seem to be combatted by an array of errand light throught the space confining the subject. Again, the sum of the spatial effects of the light, although diffuse are sufficient to offset, even balance the \'grunge\' primary plane.

What I like about this shot is its absolutely \'unpretentious\' capture of a moment. Emotive, magical, wonderful!

ack, something about this reminds me of the ring, which scared the heck out of me! :) i really like this--the ethereal lighting coming thru the window sets off the distortion of the subject nicely. nice work!

Haunting image, very moody, invokes a lot of feeling. Great work. I'm unfortunately not going to be able to vote on everything this challenge, so I'm picking my favorite thumbnails and voting on them. Yours lives up to its thumbnail, plus some. The cloudy bubble window and the rustic wall really give this a fantastic perspective. 10

I really like the way this photo looks. The algae and the rust add a lot of interest to the photo. Wonderful job!

I like this photo. It has an atmosphere of surrealism. My first thought was of a ghost or spirit watching, trying to understand or communicate.

Like this very much - would love to see more detail around the porthole (I guess it is). I get the string impression she can't actually see through there at all well, makes for an interesting image - like a girl in a bubble.

would have been even better if the girl wasn't so blurred. I realize though that it's because of the glass and not a manipulation error on your side.
