Hello Heida,
Congrats on the well deserved ribbon.
i love this shot and will defiantly add it to my favorites. One thing I wanted to mention though is that it find the blue color in the top part of the highlighted clouds a bit distracting only because I noticed it and thought cool look at the blue. Otherwise I love the image and the composition and lighting.

| Those clouds really adds a very dramatic impact. I'm not sure what the structures are, they kind of remind me of the oil pumps out in the countryside here, but they do an adequate job conveying desolation. |

| I'm ignorant about what I'm looking at -- don't know what the structures are -- but I will take your word that they something of a desolate nature :). Amazing clouds. I love the high contrast between the light and dark portions. I think you chose to compose this shot perfectly making the clouds predominant. Very, very nice. |

The clouds are very menacing and this makes me think of the future as depicted in the Terminator films.

| Wow. This is a great shot. I'm not really sure what those are in the foreground, but they evoke a feeling of abandonment that works great. The contrasts, and those clouds, are arresting. |
