You did an amazing job capturing the beauty of the temple! I know quite a few people in my ward that would love a print of this. Great job, and congrats on getting 6th!

7 Seven Sieben Siete Sette ... Did I mention you have a 7 ... woohoo!!

I enjoyed your "long story" thread regarding the recovery of this picture. It's kind of a miracle picture that has proved to be extraordinary. 6th Place is quite the accomplishment. Hope to see you soon.

A gorgeous shot! I wonder if people know that this took 40 years to build. The blocks of granite were hand cut from the Wasatch range above SLC and brought by ox and wagon to the site. Each granite block weighed between 2500 and 5600 pounds. It was begun in 1853 and completed in 1893. Most of the work was done by volunteers.

Great shot.

Nicely done, Becky! I expected a ribbon for this one, but I bet the centered horizon may have bothered some people... Still, I love it! And that's speaking as a retired architectural photographer...

Wow, nice angle and good choice of light. Something about it looks wrong tho - is it too sharp maybe? Looks very harsh in focus almost like you've tried to over-sharpen a blurred image. I'm going to rate you on the effort tho.

I like this photo. There are a lot of lighted buildings in this challenge. Most suck. I like the sharpness, and the colors. I hope the photo does well.

I've seen hundreds of temple shots but this one really stands out. Excellent POV and the deep blue sky looks amazing against the softness of the temple. Is this dwterry? Excellent work.

The level at which you took this shot works perfectly. There is plenty to look at above and below, and of course the focus is right at eye level. The blue in the lake and sky work well together.
