| Nice shot, too bad this challenge is no post shot adjustments. I can see this one in B&W w/ those deep red lips from this era. |

| lovely detail, particularly in the lips. eye is a little soft (in a portrait, the eye should be the sharpest thing). pic is a little underexposed. 8. |

This is an excellent shot. I really love the focus and clarity. I think that is what makes the shot for me. You have a really beautiful model. I think she did an excellent job with this shoot, and I bet she had fun with it as well. Definately shows times gone by. Black and white works wonderfully here. I did see the DQ request on this one and saw the info you entered, and want to commend your model mostly for her age. Wonderful.
Also, commend you on the photo, this one stands out in the crowd to me. I like the softness the DOF creates here. The necklace being soft, and the veil being crisp really works for me. The closeness is also great. Congrats on a great photo! ~Heather~ |

| This is hard for me, because though I have never really been a big fan of portrait shots, I can recognize good points in almost all aspects of photography, and this is rather impressive. So, even with my bias, lol, you still get an 8. good job. |
