This rocks...you were robbed! Incredible colors and luminosity...love the shallow dof. I could spend days on end looking @ this but I'll just add it to my favs instead...great job!

explanation: the shallow DOF was intended to isolate the row of shortest sockets, the infantry men, between the other bigger, taller ones. the green color made them more soldier-like.

love your title and composition, would have liked a greater aperture..more of the soliders in focus! :)

I like the idea and DOF here. Not too fond of the green hues, but I wonder what different white balance settings would have produced. I like it though for sure.

I like the dof and the effect of 'diffused' highlights at the back. No PS work can create this.

Green isn't a color I'd normally associate with tools. Neither is soft focus. You pulled it off. Good job.

I like the colors used in this one. And the fact that you only focused in on a couple of them.

I like this type of shot where the main subject is surrounded by similar objects. I wonder how this would look under the ROT. Lime green hue is a nice touch.

A bit more depth of field would have made this an even better shot.

For this picture to fit the title I would want all the "men" to be in focus - good composition

very nice use of green to 'solderize' the sockets

Nice Lighting,I preffer focus to be on the bottom part of the photo instead of center,7 from me!

interestign use of color and shallow depth of field... this nicely isolates the single socket... great shot :)

the lack of focus, intentional or not, doesn't work for me
