A frame does not have to be square. This is awesome, and it's going into my fav's.

Buzzrock, I'm not going to go trolling through the comments looking for people who said this "wasn't framed."

I'm just going to say it is a priceless image and I hope you think of a way to market it so others can admire it.

:-))

Outstanding effort here. The white of the felines perimeter plays wonderful against the plate, food and the background. Congratulations on your top 20 finish.

Thanks for the smile! This has some print potential (clean up the red area with some cloning after the challenge). Good luck in the challenge.

You would had needed some darker food in the bottle to get it more like ying-yang Maybe two dots, one black and one white could help. I think you haven't tried to make it look like ying-yang so it's very good like it's now. I like the lighting and the simple composition catches the eye.

Very clever image. Good choice to use primary colors. Thought provoking concept. Good technicals. The only negative is basic rules don't allow you to clone the distracting defects from the bowl and background.

4 - Good control of the whites. Like the concept. More 'food' to balance this out, especially with the title/concept and the 'bits' around on the red fixed (at time of shooting mostly - as realize difficult in basic pp), make this better in my opinion.

Love the 3 contrasts in colors (red, white, blue),shapes(square, circular, ying yang) and textures( hard plastic, soft fur, crunchy food).

Great colour, great focus - but the competition did say the frame had to be in the foreground - but like the picture.

Pretty picture. If you only had a black cat, it would fit the title as well as it fits the challenge.

Great image! Really awesome, not just sweet. :) I only wish the red background didn't have a lot of distracting elements in it; otherwise, great picture and perfect challenge interpretation. Well done.

Simple composition, limited colour palettes, excellent composition. I like it as is but would also love to see another version with cat looking up at camera.

Nice... I think this could be one of the top 5 :)

HEE HEE - I like the idea of it, but that red background just really puts me off. I think if it were white, it would tie in with the kitty and give it more of the feeling you eluded to with the title. Darling though. If the kitty were lookig up at you, then it'd really be over the top. ;~D

while it's a great shot, I can't see a frame in the 'foreground' framing what's in the background...or is it just me?
