| This is a superb High Contrast image. Those smoke staks in the bg really add to the image as does that little bird drinking in the foreground |

| 7 - Good image, interesting elements and lines, toning works well. For this Challenge, would like to have seen a stronger crop to enhance the natural framing that you've got - making it really stand out. Otherwise, in general, a more refined crop overall make this even better in my opinion. |

AWESOME! my pick so far out of 103 votes for #1 -10
The framing, composition, tones and detail with the people and the bird is fantastic. Black and white architecture is one of my favourite styles. This blows mine away, you must have been excited when you took this shot. You know it's good when it holds your interest, especially as the composer. I hope you finish top 5 at the very least. Ok you should win, just finished and only 10 I awarded so far ever. This is the very definition of an inspired well executed ell thought out photograph that makes me want to be there but allows me to settle on not going because these capures something almost tangible. Kudos |

| really feel like the bird and person on the railing make this picture alot more interesting than it already is. The light off the standing water in the lower left is just perfect, i really love this photo- its going into my favorites - only 10 i have given in the last five challenges |

| The bridge makes a great frame, especially with the people on it. The plant in the river makes an interesting subject to go inside. I'm conflicted about the bird - being outside the frame it could be seen as a distraction, though if the challenge weren't about the frame it would be a good addition. |
