I think you got robbed! This photo is so nice and should have scored higher, IMHO. It's so touching and emotive that the "feel good" quality far overshadows the technical nitpicks. I gave it a 9.

Great bokeh, I bet the couple that is in this will treasure this image...until they break up, jk of course!

A beautiful image. The bokeh is spot on and the composition with the diagonal is excellent. A little levels adjustment would bring this to the top. But so romantic all the same.

The 'feel' is very much present and the colors have given a soft touch to the picture

Nice comp, nice texture, the focal plane seems to be n the ladies shoulder so therefore soft on the rest of the image, good tones, ok light, nice movement

Great shot - composition and crop are perfect, the bokeh really brings the subjects forward. One for a ribbon? Let's hope so!

Such a lovely, touching image. The BOKEH is perfect in this one.

Beautiful shot. Should be blown up and framed... Bokeh works well here to add a sense of immersion in one another.

Nice blur patters. It goes with the picture really well. Calming in a way.

Overall not sharp enough, and perhaps framed a bit too tight at the bottom, but this has soul...

The only "non-color" image I've seen so far that really did bokeh well. Very difficult to do. Good job.

The "Bokeh" is soft and appealing, in this image...

Very sweet. If I were to change anything, I might crop a bit more off of the bottom. You could still see his thumb but eliminate part of the stripes in her sweater, and focus more on their faces. Having said that, I still love this - it is unexpected and very well composed. 8

Meets challenge very well: "... take a photograph whose subject is enhanced by the bokeh of the background." Beautiful ... I also love the expressions - very prof models, or this couple is really close - for real.

I like how the background evokes the sense of snowy trees, emphasizing the title.

Bokeh is quite harsh in this image. You can see the doughnut shaped highlights.
