Many thanks for all the comments. As some have noted, it was raining when I took this last minute shot, and it is hard to protect a fisheye lens from having rain fall on it. Some of the blobs in the sky (and the ground if you look closely) are caused by rain falling on the lens during the exposure.

This gives good reason for desiring a fisheye lens. I've thought about shots like this but haven't had the tools.

I love the blue color tone in this shot and the star effect on the lights. Well done!

Very harsh and edgy light lends an unique feel to this shot.

What a picture! The bottom half is very clear, but it looks like it has rained or something.

Only two things I dislike about this shot and made me refrain from giving it a 10 and adding it to my favorites.

1. For my taste, oversharpened by quite a bit.

2. Strongly dislike the strong flare that is around every single lightsource in the image.

Other than that, this shot is AWESOME, excellent clarity, contrast, coloring, composition and use of a wide angle lens. Like I said, 9 from me :)

Nice leading lines, I think the distortion from the wide angle lens actually adds to the pic, I am sure you will get comments that say the opposite, but I feel it really works well here.

Could have been better with a clean lens and without the construction works - hehe.. But the picture is very nice - striking colors and a nice place :o)

great tones, shame about the spots

its a real shame this is only basic editing - under advanced rules you would be able to fix the spots in he sky, dodge and burn a bit and this photo would be amazing - giving you an 8 for potential

good shot and angle... a bit too sharp? and glare is a bit distracting, but nevertheless, interresting

excellent composition, I'm conflicted on the crane crossing the horse though, I don't know how shifting your shot would have affected the rest of the exposure, but very well done nonetheless. -8

if not for the specs on the lens in the upper left, this would have been marked VERY high

I like this shot a lot, and usually I'm not a fan of wide-angle distortion on buildings. Perhaps it's because i know the area. The tones in the old Stock Exchange are perfect. Shame about the flare in the sky. In a member challenge you would have been able to do something about this.
