Good decision to use selective desat and concentrate the viewer's focus on the ball since the motion is so subtle.

A great shot.

The mood of the sky matches that on the face of the subject, and the whole thing is enhanced with the colour desturation. Just the right amount of blur (and colour) in the ball to emphasise that it is the only non-stationary element.

Love the post processing in this one and that you desaturated all but some reds. Nice job. A 10 from me!

I love this shot. Nice selective coloring to bring out the color of the ball. Nice sky/background and overall image...everytime I see this image I have to click closer to get a little better view (probably helps that I like soccer).

I think this is a great image, very nicely done and a great idea as well. I think I would have liked a bit more edge on the left to balance with the right. Just an opinion, nice job.

I really like this shot, both for its look and for its being different from the others. The selective color appeals to me, too. I just wish the shadow on his chest weren't there. Still, a 9.

...well done, I hope this shot does really well for you

Love the desaturation and the moodiness of the sky...

Ok hard to decide. I like the crispness of the shot and the composition, but the color tends to leave me wanting something else. Maybe either more or less color.

I like the way you've put this together compositionally. Can almost feel the ball moving. Must have been a storm moving in? The shirt and face of your subject have fairly harsh lighting, but the sky looks to be blotting out the sun pretty soon. While the burning works on the clouds, I'm not really a big fan of it. It was actually more evident in the thumb than full-sized view. Good luck in the challenge.

Timely rendition here. Ball is not spinning quite fast enough. But not too bad. Good idea.

Nicely done. Good use of desat too. His expression is hilarious. In a perfect scenario, the brick wall would be gone and he'd have no tag on his shirt, but the NIkE check would be cool. You could call it "Just Do It." LOL

Great shot. I really feel like this is one of the more original shots in the challenge. Great use of selective color.
