Fortunately the relfection doesn't detract too much from the detail around and behind the eye.

good macro. Great detail on the skin and eye.

Reptiles have such interesting texture. The depth of field on this shot works for me vs so many of the other shots here because the front side of the object is in focus.

Tarnation to the DOF too, the nose is out of focus, I'd have come round to get squarer on, but maybe the reflection would have gotten worse.

My eye goes immediately to the texture in this frog's eye... this is a great photo for sure... The only thing I don't like about this photo is the color of the surrounding environment and you probably did not have much control over that... = 9 - jmsetzler

By your title, I assume you mean on the fellow's eye. No problem, no points deducted, although a polarizing filter might have helped. What is the skin looking stuff in the lower part of the pic? Overall glare on the lizard's skin is a touch heavy (more polarizing or diffused lighting). I really like the eyes! 9 Swash

Very nice texture in the eye. Sharp focus there and nice reflection as well.

Really cool amphibian. Man, that eye would have been killer without the reflection. A little PhotoShop on this and you could hang it almost anywhere... well, maybe not next to the family portraits ;-) Great shot!
