Sorry there was no writting. My family doesn't know how to write in caligraphy and plain print wouldn't have looked right with what I was trying to achieve. |

On your mark, get set, go fix the crocked tip of your writing implement! the stationery will wait. Other than the disconcerting bend in the pen or brush tip, this is a photo of stationery by candlelight. So... so it is. |

This has a really old feel to it, perhaps desaturated it would've been better? |

The coloration by the candle light is appropriate for this composition. The ink bottle is somewhat hidden by the glare of the candle and might be better seen if moved about level with the hand. You might also want to try cropping the left side of the image to just left of the candle flame to help minimze the negative space at the top left corner. |

I like this concept
but the harshness of the candle is distracting for me. |

A little box just came up saying 'return to the main voting screen' and I thought it was part of the picture. It's probably better that it isn't, but it was an odd moment... |
