Jefferson Memorial. My favorite place. Sunset had cooled somewhat by the time I got there, so I used my white balance to 'give it some help' :) .. used my tripod

Flower, pet, kid, macro, Jefferson Memorial ... work 'em into any challenge!

It's one of my favorite buildings there too -- someday I hope to see it in person. Nice job, as usual.

Nice shot! I love the shading of the columns, it's very soft and makes the columns look very round. I like how the picture makes you want to walk to the left.

This reminds me of a photo in the archives at DPC... it may even be the same place.
Aha, it's 'Round' by albright1, and is of the Jefferson Memorial. That one got a red ribbon because of the great use of light and shade. The crop was very effective. Although yours is an attractive shot, there is nothing here in the way of light or composition to lift this above a 6 for me. Score: 6

One of the best of the columns...would have been nicer without the tree.

nice shot. i wonder what it would have looked like in b&w - higher contrast might highlight the repetition better . . .

Think I've seen a picture very very similar to this one. But this one is also very good. Nice work. 8

You were able to capture some really nice curves. Your composition with the ground and the roof makes the piece very interesting. It leads your eyes around the columns. Great job.

Exceptional photo. Wondering if I know where this is...

The colors are awesome. The light is great. The detail fine. I also really like the angle and perspective. Way to go!

Now, I wonder if I know who took this photo :-) Fantastic composition and color. I love the easy curve off to the left.

I love this shot, the sharpnes, the color tones, the lighting, I think it is great can even see the 'grain' of the stone. Well done.

Really nice perspective. The only thing that bothers me is the very bottom left corner - the way the step breaks up the otherwise smooth presentation. Still a top pick for me.
