I didn't realise that it was a slinky. I guess it worked on (for) me!

i love this--has a very noir feel with the drastic contrasts--and totally dig the dof and framing, as well. awesome idea.

Very cool photo - would look great in a modern setting. I'm guessing this is a macro shot of a slinky? Anyway - I'm giving it a very good score:)

very neat idea and fun shot. well done! only suggestion would have been a light boost in contrast, maybe.

Great concept and interesting image. The lighting is good and focusing on the far side was a good choice. Some minor imperfections: noise to the left of center and aliasing on some of the coils, a couple of bright spots, and the table edge is somewhat distracting. But overall well done.

It walks down stairs, alone or in pairs...... Good concept for a photo. I think this one should do well. Everyone knows its Slinky. Its fun for a girl and a boy.

Ahh the infamous slinky, at first I did not care much for your shot to be honest, though on second look I like it more. I am still wishing the light at the bottom was more subtle though. But I like the tones and abstract feel, nice job.

Creative interpretation. I like the focus being away from the camera so that the nearest objects are thrown OOF. I'd be interested to see what it looks like if you focus on the center mass of objects rather than the fartherest grouping. Lighting choice is superb although a bit heavy; might want to diffuse that light a little more. Overall this met the challenge, showed creativity and was a technically superior job. The lighting cost the 1 point. - 9
