Headed out to the airport to see if I could get some shots of planes vs birds. Turns out this little guy just wanted to be photographed. He sat patiently upon this pole and the end of the runway and just waited as plane after plane few by.

Great fit to challenge, wish it were bigger.

phenomenal juxtaposition. should be a ribbon! I love how the bird seems to be looking back at the plane. 10

I like the simplicity of this a lot, as well as those surrealistic feathery clouds and the bit of pink in them.

Great concept, but the execution could be better. I would have really liked it if the bird was also in flight. The way the bird and the plane are presented one stationary and one in flight doesn't tell the story of progress.

It's nice subject matter just that subjects are too small for me.

Very nice juxtaposition. I like the bird as a silhouette - makes it seem more overshadowed by the plane.

What a great idea. It would be even better (wishful thinking) with the bird in flight.

Panoramas typically don't look good in dpc challenges because of the 640 max dimension. Regardless, a very nice rendition of a flight.
