THIS IS AN IMAGE I LOVED FROM THE FIRST TIME I SAW IT AND ALSO WHEN NOT AT DPC AND THINKING OF DPC I HAVE OFTEN HAD THIS IMAGE IN MY HEAD... REALLY I HAVE AS IT TOUCHED ME ON SO MANY LEVELS... FIRST AND FOREMOST JUST THE IDEA ITSELF BLOWS ME AWAY AND IT WAS THEN EXECUTED SO WELL AND GOT THE BLUE THAT IT DESERVED...IT ALSO MUST HAVE TAKEN A LOT TO TIME SETTING IT UP S IT COULD NOT BE BETTER IN ANY WAY... I LOVE THE IDEA OF SPOTS STRIPES AND CHECKS ALL TOGETHER AND THEY WORK AS IT NOT BUSY IN ANYWAY SHAPE OR FORM... THIS HAS TO HAVE MY NEW SHERPET JEWEL AWARD OF EXCELLENCE AS IT WAY OUT THERE IN FRONT OF MY FAVORITE IMAGES I HAVE COLLECTED. XOX

| Great image. Odd that nobody commented on gaussian blur, which was a fantastic idea but kinda living on the edge with the "major elements" rule. Seems silly that you would have had to flap the tablecloth to acheive a similiar effect outside of photoshop, but I'm sure not as good a result. I hope the direction of the site has changed enough for you to keep this blue. |

And being one of the people that has no rpoblem with color being in the entry I think I would have loved to have seen a bow or something of bright red in her hair. | Hmmm these stockings look really familiar! ;) Great idea, pleasing composition, but the black in the hair is underexposed and you lose too much detail in it and looks like a big blob. Still this should be in the top 20 at least. |
