| Easily best of the IR shots in this challenge. The colors are awesome! Bringing in browns and yellows to the house is brilliant and the soft glow to the whole picture just works really well. | Very nice - I love the smoothness of the water. The white and blues work great together and create a nice calming effect. The brown & yellow stand out nicely with out being over bearing. Definitely one of my favorites ~10 |

I love the contrast of the warm window glow to the cool water. Wonder if cropping the bottom half of the water below the building reflection would work?

| My general comment would have been - Capturing Zen Garden is not an example of Zen photography. But this one is different and is very well executed. The dash of man-made-structure actually helps in highlighting the natural background. FOr my taste, I'd have liked to keep the subject (Tea house?) a little more smaller compared to background. Infrared treatment is well done. Hope this does well for you.8. |

| The IR effect is not very serene. It excites my mind's eye, it does not calm it. The composition here is perfect, the still water is great, the lighting and the trees - everything for a truly harmonious, serene shot exists in this photograph, but the IR trades it all in for eye candy glitz and really sends everything south. Do I like this photo? Yeah, a lot. Do I like it in this challenge? No. 5. |
