 Alright, I wasn't gonna do this shot but I changed my mind so I could dispel rumors that repeat and copy-cat photos don't score well. Although it didn't do as well as the 1st one I submitted, I think if you take a good shot, no matter how many times people have seen it, others will score it appropriately.
My point being, if you see something you like and you think you can improve on it, go for it.
BTW this one took a lot more ballons than the 1st because I couldn't remember how I done it. I busted a whole bag this time. The 1st one only took like 6 or something.

PS. I'm done with the balloon popping thing.

I learned something by looking at this picture. Don't forget to light from behind... Very nicely done.

PS. What's the projectile? an arrow? a fishing speargun spear?

Very nice job...I actually like this one better than the first. The arrow and the ballon are much easier to discern. Lets you know exactly what is going on in an instant.

The timing on this is terrific. The lighting just seems a little harsh, although I can't tell you how I would have done it differently.

I typically find these shots rather boring because usually the only "wow" factor present is the mere timing of the shot and nothing else. However here this image can stand on it's own for purely artistic reasons. The composition is great as is the lighting and of course you nailed the stop motion but best of all it's simply a nice looking image to look at. I'm bumping this up from a 7 to a 10. Good luck.

as much as i can appreciate the effort required to produce this shot, it doesn't do anything for me aesthetically. i just reminds me too much of images from my high school physics textbooks. i won't hold that against you, though. maybe if you had put food coloring in the water, it might be more interesting...

it's cool, but lacks a bit of creativity that kind of diminishes the awe-inspiring wowness of the shot; somewhat inevitable if you try to emulate on of the most viewed pictures on the site. there is no denying it's technically excellent, but it feels emotionally cold and not very stirring. 7.
