Yes - another picture of the tigers from the Columbus Zoo. I didnt go there expecting to find my free study project but they were in a posing type of mind set. Both tigers there are more than willing to strike poses for the camerasand the huge glass window allows for pretty clean shots. Right after her sip here she proceeded to sink her body into the water with only her head and front paws out. I was initially inetrested in finding a landscape type shot that would allow me to edit away and create a masterpiece, but this tiger will have to do. Unfortunately we will be on vacation and have no computer access the entire week of voting so I will not be able to vote or see any entries and won't find out how this p[laces til a couple of days after. Fingers crossed.

Post processing - alot - levels, selective sat and desat all over the place, alot of dodging and burning, minor cloning on the bush behind and some of the grass blades, gaussian blur on background, NI, USM, crop, border, resize for web and then a little more of everything again.

WOW - LOVE this. How did I miss it in the challenge? Absolutely beautiful colors and clarity. My only problem (as others have stated) is the color of the nose. But I'm still adding to favorites.

Apparently I like this one. Only nit is the color of the nose (just a hair too bright, imo). Definitely falls into the realm of fine art post processing - excellent work, as always.

That *is* a great stare, but his head's so far over there that my eye keeps wandering back to his haunches.

Hope this was with a long lens, he looks as though he's ready to pounce for interupting his drink. Great job of capturing that look and this beautiful photo!

Great focus and color adjustments. The Tigers texture is also nicely enhanced.

Those colors on the tiger really pop off the screen! They are bold and rich in hue. And the stare of this majestic beast is captivating ... and frightening for he is looking at us with a hunter/prey glare. Love the composition in which you included his surroundings in the photo composition. I get the feeling that it is as if we have stumbled out of the brush and disturbed this tiger's drink.

Beautiful saturation. The flaring red nostrils are interesting, but I think the image would have been better without the brilliant orangy red. Overall, looks very natural and detailed.

Great capture. Colours seem a bit too much for me, a bit overstaurated and fake looking.

This is a gorgeous painting-like photo. The hunch of the animal, the stare and the mix of blue with the orange has been so well nailed down. The crop is also well chosen. What spoils it somewhat is the 2 red spots on the tiger's noise (what seems to be oversaturation of colour). Since this is advanced editing, cloning them out would be quite easy IMO.

Very hyper processing! I love it. The only thing that could be improved is the nostrils appear to be an unreal red. Since I love it anyway, 10 from me.

This is almost too perfect!!!! WOW the water, the intensity, the composition. One slight nitpic - the red on the tiger's nose.
