 My wife always used to say this saying so I decided to use it on the pea challenge.

The actual sying is "I eat my peas with honey, I've done it all my life, it makes my peas taste funny, but it keeps them on my knife" but that was just a little to long to put in the title.

I used a flashlight to help light the peas but it was aimed to low and it ended up just lihgting up the background which worked out well because it gives the illusion that someone is behind the knife full of peas. Sometimes the mistakes add to the photo.

Thanks every one for your comments, VXPRA, I never did figure out the Dudley Do Right riddle so I guess no extra points and Bear Music I like your version of the poem also.

As a side note I have not tried to eat my peas with honey, we actually have forks!

Dudley Do-Right got kicked out of the mounties for eating his peas with a knife. Bonus point if you can cite the refrence, oh wait, can't add points after the challenge. Good luck. Lighting is good, plenty of honey to make it clear- either that or it's Gorilla Glue- ever tried that with Peas, they'll stick to the knife for sure then, now I am just rambling- feel free to mark the "Commentor was an idiot" box.

Editorial comment: should be "it makes the peas taste funny..."

My dad used to sing that song incessantly when we were eating peas :-)

My version went: "I eat my peas with money; I've done it all my life. It's an awful waste of money, but it keeps it from my wife!"

Wow! Now there's a title for ya. ;^) Cute image - it's well focused and exposed fine for the most part. Might want to consider some type of diffuser for your lighting setup as the glare on the peas is a little too harsh IMO. Back to the title - don't put so much weight on the title making the image for you. If you were to look at this image without any title at all, what would be your opinion. Is there a story? What's the story? Just another way of looking at it. Best of luck to you in the challenge.
