Date: Aug 14, 2006
Aperture: 4.0
ISO: 125

Date Uploaded: Aug 14, 2006

I had planned to do this image from the minute the challenge was announced, but then Idnic posted this comment "A naked Canon with a butterfly and a sunset will ribbon!" in the challenge thread.

So Idnic....I went ahead with my original plan and decided to dedicate this image to you. You wanted it...you got it!

And for the record...the butterfly is definitely real. And this is definitely a Self Portrait...I used one MIRROR only!!!

Again a really stunning image, done so beautifully as only Judi would do. I cannot believe people vote these low scores, on something of this quality.....It just amazes me, and it is quite sad. I think this so deserved to get a higher position as it is a great photo. Well done Judi.

Ah, figured someone would enter a shot like this, just for the fun factor (Judi?) :)

I love the sunset, and the purple haze in the sky; gorgeous. Great photo!

One of the things I like to think about when looking at these submissions is how the shot was taken. I would like to thing that this is a reflection. Another good shot. The use of colour and composition makes this photo, as does the precarious method to which the camera has been supported. There's more achievement from making your own tripod than buying one. Top marks.

This is a very creative idea. Love the colors and placement of the camera. I don't think you really needed someone in the background to take away from the camera self portrait.
