 Okay, so this is my first entry. Be gentle. I did this mostly for laughs, I'll post the screen after the voting is done. Hoping for a high 5 out of this.

Crop, levels and color balance. I shot this on the 15th at 9 P.M. with mixed lighting.

To add......
This shot just kind of fell together. I had a pair of ideas the first was- removing your own appendix- I drew some notes on it and decided I was getting too gruesome. The second was "Idiots guide to Root Canal" which was going to be me with the idiot book and a pair of channel locks, that morphed into "Big Ed's". I had sketched out the basic idea the night before I shot this and decided that it was missing something. The next morning a departing guest left the bottle of Laphroaig in their unit- and the idea was complete. The tooth shot on the web page was originally going to be stolen from another site, but I kind of wondered about the legality of using that here, so I talked to a dentist friend and he had basically the same model teeth, I set those up and got that shot. I ended up working late the night that I was going to shoot this and ended up building the web page and doing the shot in about an hour. I had a lighter version, but liked the darker one that I used here much better.

Great first entry! A lot to take in and some thoughtful details went into the set up. I might have arranged a few less tools and made them more obvious. I tend to like a more simple look to a photo and it appears you were right at the edge of trying to do too much with this shot.

did you make the "click here" for the womans page a different color indicating it was already clicked on..??
just a thought.. its the minor details that make me laugh..
