I completely ripped off this idea from metatate .... uh ... yeah. This was much easier than last time though since the rules had changed :) ....

Last time I was in 4th place by something like .00000000000000000000007.

I believe since I ripped off my last image, Steve will once again put me in 4th-place-pergatory using his mystical powers.

I am very familiar with the ways of the Davidsons - and in a away, I am one ... uh ... OK ... I AM am one.

Great post-processing job, but that alone is never enough. The initial composition and concept is also noteworthy.

Congratulations on the 4th place finish, son!
Oh... wait... You did know that your mom and I left you with foster parents when you were little, didn't you? Sorry about that if you didn't already know.
Great picture, even though you cheated and stole the idea for it from yourself. LOL!!!

Very exhilirating and activating the imaginative play in all of us. Congratulations on your 4th, believe me, this image is also worthy of a ribbon.

Nice idea and captures the essence of what happened, I believe. We all need those float away periods in our lives. 8.

Interesting and well done. Good concept. Horizon is perfectly level and the image quality is good. Don't know if the path is purposely made exceptionally smooth like that, but it adds interest to the composition. Nice to think a landscapre photographer could just drift off and fade away into scene.
Hmmmmm... methinks my illigitimate son took this picture. That alone is reason enough for each and every one of you to give this image a 10. I'll be checking scores closely on this one.
Think I got a little closer to the end of the landscape that I really wanted to when I was lost, if you get my drift, but everything turned out all right. There were times I wished I had an umbrella and could just float my way back to civilization. :) - Steve

Ahh the lovely BLUE water - the lovely BLUE sky - the lovely BLUE shirt - the lovely BLUE clouds - and a lovely RED umbrella...hmmmm...RED? Nah! - still thinking BLUE. Very nicely done...reminds me of a photo I chose as a favorite one time. :) Bumping to 9.

Brilliant Deja Vu. I wonder if this is how you had envisioned your original. The exageration of all the elements lend this perfectly to a fantasy type feel. The colors, the clouds, the NI rocks are all great. Beautiful shot. Now if this isn't Metatate then he will be very proud of the nod, but I am guessing it is. Bumping up 2.

This is the very best one with Steve brushes, if that is a brush effect in the sky. Either way, it's one of my favorites so far, and that's saying a lot since I have been voting the more natural pictures higher in this challenge. But this just draws me right in. The graduations in the sky and the small clouds are such a perfect backdrop for the figure with the umbrella. The road looks too smooth and painted for my taste, but otherwise, there's not a critical thing I can say. 9
