Picture taken at El Torcal Natural Park, Antequera, Spain. A wonderful place where the wind running through the rocks creates melodious songs.

Between the foreground rocks and the background mountains there is a valley. Background mountains was getting all the sunset light, which by the way was gorgeus; while foreground rocks was not getting any because of the huge rock wall at my back. Light was amazing, and sky was deep blue ...

About the composition, clouds formations were wonderful, and foreground rocks had a great detail ... I didn't want to sacrifice one for the other ... and I liked how the combination was directing the gaze towards the background mountains.

Thank you for all the comments :)

Very dramatic composition and rich color tones make this very interesting. I also like how the distant mountains are kind of hidden away, like a secret waiting to be discovered. Well done!

Great contrast and detail. The color may have been pushed a bit too far on saturation IMO. This would have been a good shot for the subjectless challenge. ;^) One last point is that compositionally, the horizon is too much on center I think. All of the above is JMO of course. Good luck in the challenge.

Love the detail of the rocks in the foreground and the wonderful colours from the ones in the background. The sky is vivid and there seems to be motion from the clouds. Everything in this shot just comes together so well. Bumping up!

One of two things here:
1) This saturation and contrast was done intentionally, or
2) The monitor you edited this on was way off (laptop?)

This is a spectacular view/landscape and amazing sky - Well done on the composition! Can I pretty please edit the original?????
The post-processing hurts this submission in my opinion. (6)

Fantastice scenery, but way oversaturated and/or "overcontrasted" to my taste.

Very nice composition but oversharpened and oversaturated.

Sorry but it looks over processed. Otherwise it would have been a very good picture.

The rule of thirds would be well applied here to remove some of the sky and move the horizon off the center of the picture.

Perhaps a bit too saturated for some people, but I personally love that about this shot.
