Wow! I can't believe it - I'm on Cloud 9 again! Thanks so much for this ribbon, it is such a thrill to win another.

Thanks also, for all your kind comments. All of you here at DPC are the greatest!

Editing:Crop; Adjustment layers for levels, curves, saturation & contrast; flatten; exposure adjustment - +.007 & offset -.0025; use healing brush on several white spots in shadow areas; noise reduction with Helicon Filter; resize; smart sharpen; save for web.

My husband and I went driving and hiking at the Sand Dunes today. We went yesterday as well but it rained so much we couldn't even get out of the car! So we went back today to get our money's worth(It's $3.00 a person which is good for a week). Mostly, we drove on the 4 wheel drive trail - my husband has been wanting to do that for awhile and then we hiked out a bit and saw some of the dunes we've never seen before at the end of the 4 wheel drive trail. This is a close up of one section of the dunes.

Beautiful image...I wonder what caused those tracks. Of course, I'm assuming these are sand dunes...

Nice dune shot. Good use of the low angled light to create definition and texture with the shadows.

On the one hand the subject here is clearly sand dunes. On the other hand, this is the lamest challenge I've ever seen and this is a hell of a nice photo so... 8.

this is superb for this challenge...perfect in fact! I love the shades and the editing and I think even at this stage without seeing many shots, this should finish high...at least I hope it does...I am not liberal with 10's, but this is faultless 10
