I agree with Imagineer here, this is a really excellent photo and very well inspired by the challenge.

Great composition. The Moire artefacts on the brick wall are distracting, though.

This confirms my belief that most DPC voters at this current time are lacking in imagination and a willingness to step away from the safety zone of smooth, safe subjects and sentimentality. You have been robbed here, as have a few others in the challenge, but this is great if tad harsh and suffering a little moire at 640 pixels. What a superb find.

A photograph is neither taken nor seized by force. It offers itself up. It is the photo that takes you. One must not take photos. ~ Henri Cartier-Bresson. I think this sums it up best.

This was certainly one of the most creative shots in the challenge. IMNSHO there could have been a tad more contrast between the tree and the wall to make the tree stand out. Brilliant composition.

I don't understand why the voting public at large can't see that this is so much more interesting than the obvious images that have won this challenge. Perhaps it's a self-perpetuating thing, concentric circles.

One of my favorites of the challenge. It just has that little extra something that puts it over the top. Well Done! 9

I don't know ... maybe a big "graffiti" arrow on that nice blank wall would help ... : )

Great find!

That is a great play on visual words. Love the b/w rendition too and the tree (date palm?) has a decent amount of character. 8.

cool idea. it might have been cool to leave a little green in the leaves of the tree, so we really couldn't miss it. :)

Creatvie idea. the different elements (tree, arrows, road, stones) work well together. for some reason I hate the wall. It's just a dud compared to the rest of the scene. in balance: 6

Clever and rather abstract interpretation. I like it. Quite an eye to find and capture that particular palm.
