 I know this has been done to death, but I hope you don't mind, I am still learning and I guess all of us have to try the water-drip-stop-motion sometime... :) This is my first attempt.

Took it from my kitchen sink. Water in a fish tank, put a blue pillowcase under the fish tank to give the water a blue color. Put broccoli sprouts in the water. Set camera on Macro setting, used flash on camera and fast shutter speed. Took about 100 shots. Found this little mushroom shaped splash was the best.

Ran Noise Ninja, flipped horizontally, cropped, levels, brightness/contrast, color balance, Hue/saturation, shadow/highlight, smart sharpen, burned areas of a few background areas to bring out subject a little more. Saved for web

Congrats on your top 50 finish. Really felt this should have been higher because it was so refreshing. One of my all time favorites.

8 - Nice image. Good play on the title, which for those who didn't take time to study it longer than 2 seconds, would likely be lost on. A more refined crop, especially top right corner, make this even better in my opinion. Like the colors and clarity - good stop motion and 'texture'. Perhaps a few sprouts closer to the surface for added effect and element(s), who knows.

This is good, but would have like to seen it cropped tighter to emphanise the water droplet.....Maybe a portrait style, taking away the left side of the image.....
