::: Critique Club :::

Hi, my name is Kari and from the critique club.

First Impression - the most important one:
Wow ..awesome colours ... a little disconcerted at the angle (but that is me) ... the patterns and leading lines are great.

Subject:
Well done ... meets the challenge in so many ways.

Composition:
I love the way that the lines in the sky created a leading line for the eye to follow ... I found the angle a little weird .... I also think that the changing of the colours leads you through the picture as well.

Technical (Colour and light):
Lovely .. awesome .. beautiful .. not a lot is say on these really.

To grow its vote?:
I might have tried cropping out the trees .. .just to give a complete sky look .. rather than a ground up approach .. but that is only an option .. your crop is great.

Summary:
Great work .. awesome and congrats on the top 10.

If you've got any questions about this critique, please feel free to contact me via the PM system.

Cheers

Kari

Bit chaotic but beautiful. I think it would look bit cooler if you would crop all the bushes off :). Just pure sky, sunset and lines.

Nice gradient in the sky. Also, the use of crossing and intersecting lines makes this photo stand out.

I do not see them as pollution. I actually find them appealing.

Lovely! The graduated colors in the sky are superb and the wires crossing really let this image stand out. Nice capture! 8o)

Excellent. Hope this does well. My fav. so far. The angle makes these lines interesting. Nice colour. If it didnt have the thing in the middle(looks like glare) i'd give it a 10.

... or beauty, depends on who is watching. Some say the same for windmills, but I will rather look at windmills than coal fired powerstations and black smoke!

Nice picture, love the softness of the gradient horizon ...

The composition is too artistic to be called visual pollution. I like the diagonal lines, they create an energy that conrasts with the smooth serenity of the sunrise ( sunset?)

Nice. The title definitely adds to the understanding that it is supposed to look very busy. The background sky is very nice.

I really like how the cables bring an abstract element to this picture all by themselves and how they brake up what otherwise is negative space. Nice colors as well!
