Excellent shot. I wonder what it would look like with the crop not so tight. The rose is an excellent touch.

Beautiful use of colour in this image.
The centraly placed subject works very well with the rose at the bottom of the shot to break it up.
VERY nearly a ribbon and it does deserve one.
Keep up the good work

Gorgeous texture, color and framing. Who built such a window, and where?

I really like this photo, and I think it shows irony quite well but I personally feel that it would be better without the rose...it just seems out of place in this shot, but that is just my opinion.

I must admit I like the picture, by itself. It wouldn't have to be Irony, for me to like this. Though there is irony here. You got my in my 10 club.

Now, what is a beautiful image like this doing in such company? Is the rose in hommage of the restaurator or to appease the hordes? My lonesome choice for blue.

The irony here is not only intact but also cordial. :-)

Excellant subject. Rustic texture is what makes this image great. Wonderful shot. The rose adds color though it may not be needed. The only flaw is that the window is not quite square in the frame.

Very nice photo. A subject that makes you curious, subtle colors, nice textues, well framed. the rose gives a nice focus.

Like this a lot - one of my highest scores of the week. The rose adds some needed colour contrast.

The flower, I feel, takes too much away from the main subject. I didn't even catch that there was no window at first. The flower draws to much of my attention.

Great photo, the yellow wall also forms a suitable frame around the window. I think if you had added a border to the photo it would have looked odd. The rose is an extra boost. Top photo!
