Golden Eagle, taken at the San Francisco Zoo - my favorite spot for bird of prey pictures. :) This guy was very nice and gave me a lot of good poses to work with.

These birds do in fact pose to perfection for you don't they! Wow! This is absolutely AMAZING! Congratulations on such a great finish in this challenge!

8 - Oh... very nice. 'If only' the face/beak/eye were as sharp as the wing/etc.. but difficult - and at any rate, may well have made a 'different image' - if that makes sense. Depending what you had to work with, I do wonder about a variation in composition framing, but your call, obviously, and you likely had reason(s) for composing like this. edit:typo & wording

This is the 333 photo I've looked at in this challenge...I'm gonna add the numbers up: 3 + 3 + 3 = 9 and give it a bonus point. My first 10 for the challenge....I have the feeling your hunter is not flying because the focus is just too perfect (and the wings aren't extended) , but your crop DOES give the feeling of flight...great job! 10

This looks like you could reach out and ruffle those feathers. Really like the shallow DOF. Excellent work!
