| Thanks to everyone who voted for this shot, particularly the high scores :) I especially like all the comments. I have since taken the advice of many of you and shot the scene from just under the lights in the foreground so as to eliminate them from the shot...Unfortunately, the platform is right on top of a bridge and I will be lucky to get a shot without camera shake....I'm having fun here, 1 top 10 finish and 1 top 20 with only 2 submissions...whooohooo! |

| Minneapolis never looked better. Super image all the way around. The only thing I would have done differently would have been to crop out the burn't out light on the right. It detracts from this great shot and you'd only be cutting out uninteresting detail on that side of the frame anyway. |

very pretty, interesting yellow and green lights in the foreground...possibly slightly distracting though. my eyes can't make up their mind if they are too distracting or not - but my eyes do keep popping to the building right fg.
they sky is lovely though, and the bulidings with their little lights. you got the sky at a nice moment. |

I feel as if the lights are distracting from the overall scene. Other than that a good shot.

| Nice exposure. I like the darkened images of buildings and the hint of sunset in the horizon. The street lights in foreground reinforce the night mood. |

| Nice! One of the better night pictures IMHO. Love the lamp-posts at the bottom front - they are different colours! It\'s interesting to see that totally golden building in the middle back. |

| The lights at the bottom are nice but too prominent and are very much a focal point... The lights above them on the left are great and this could dramatically be improved if cropped, I do like this shot alot though, good work ( im jealous as its that good :0) ) |

| the juxtaposition of rounds and squares and clouds is very nice and the balance of the gold building and golden lights pulls it together nicely 7 |
