Wow thanks for all the comments and votes, this is my best so far at DPC.

Now to answer everyone's queries and debunk some stuff:

- Yes these are the Petronas Twin Towers, a.k.a. KLCC, right in the capital of Malaysia (Kuala Lumpur).
- Due to the overcast sky and nature of the building itself, this made the whole picture look like a duotone or B&W. Trust me, it isn't! ;)

Thanks again everyone! ^_^

Very good! I love the DOF and angle, and I really like the tones here.

Great angle. Suits the B&W treatment very well. Excellent detail too.
A somewhat devalued 10 because I've given so many!

Great repetition I like the detail. Good in B/W

I think I see Frodo on the 44th floor!

Nice shot. Like the angle the building go in at and the b&w. Is this in Malaysia? I think I remember seeing how this was built on tv. :-)

Nice job.

Is this in Asian?

the towers look disturbingly unsymmetrical.

not a particularly nice sky.... pity. underexpoed it seemed. the shine of the stainless steel not captured well enough in my opinion.

Awesome perspective. I've never seen these buildings before. Are they Asian by any chance? (9)

Update: I know I know!! These are the Twin Towers in Kualar Lumpar :_)

I think I've seen these buildings in other photos and in at least one movie. Photo attempts to be symmetric, but fails -- needs to be cropped a little more on the right to make the edge the same as on the left -- also in looking closer, the whole thing tilts to the right.

Bold and balanced symmetry.

The bland, nearly imperceptible presence of sky appears itself to be dwarved by the mono(duo-)lithic subject. This simple and precise composition suits the slightly wide format of the image. The perspective makes excellent use of lens perception.

Not a lurid or glorious image, but an astoundingly appropiate teatment (the choice of b and w, avoidance of excessive lighting) of such horrific architecture.

I think it would be better if the building were either more centered in the frame or if they were at a more interesting angle. They're slightly off-center here. I do like the black and white, though - I usually see these in color.

Amazing perspective. Very good clarity in terms of sharpness. It has a gloomy feeling to it though. Maybe brightening would have helped? Still, decent shot.

Is this Kuala Lumpar - nice composition pity that the light was so flat. Modern buildings always look great with the sunlight hitting all that glass.

Nicely composed B&W. Perfectly framed and/or cropped. The Petronas Towers will always make a great photographic subject.

Nice perspective of the towers. Looks like they are about to tumble on top of you! This does meet the challenge very well in my book but the overall shading, contrast of the picture seems just slightly off to me.

The buildings are interesting in themselves, but the presentation brings them out well.

Great graphic image. It looks great in balck and white. This has to be one of my favorites for the challenge.

these are impressive buildings of course but I don't know that it's a landscape. the lack of any context is jarring. maybe in color or with a more textured sky it would work better? still a 7 :)

I've seen many documentaries on the building of this place and I am in awe of the power that it represents. A very good shot!

Nice perspective, maybe some playing with the tones (light and dark) would of enhanced it a little, good shot though.

Another very nice one. I am curious as to what city this is from. Very nicely done in B&W
